Aspen AT and 32-inch MTB Tires
Expanding modern cross-country performance and redefining MTB capability
Maxxis is broadening the scope of modern mountain bike performance with two key additions to its lineup: the all-new Aspen AT cross-country tire, and a forward-looking family of 32-inch mountain bike tires.
Together, these launches reflect Maxxis’ continued focus on evolving rider needs, from today’s increasingly demanding XC racecourses to the exploration of entirely new performance boundaries in wheel and tire design.
Aspen AT
Speed Meets All-Terrain Capability
The Aspen AT builds on the legacy of the Aspen family, long trusted at the highest levels of cross-country racing. Designed to carry Aspen’s signature speed into rougher and more variable terrain, the Aspen AT introduces an updated tread profile that improves control and confidence without sacrificing its racing pedigree.
Positioned between pure race tires and more aggressive trail options, the Aspen AT is aimed at riders who want one tire that can handle more of what modern XC demands.
- Elevated Aspen tread design language
- Single ply 120 TPI casing
- MaxxSpeed rubber compound
- Tubeless Ready
- E50 Rated
- Fast-rolling XC tire with increased all-terrain capability
- Updated tread design for improved control in rough conditions
- Built for modern cross-country and downcountry riding
New Packaging
As part of the ongoing efforts to reduce our environmental impact, the Aspen AT will ship with our new generation of recyclable packaging. The cardboard hanger is made from 75% post-consumer recycled paper, and recyclable plastic strapping replaces the zip ties previously used. Look for more innovations in this area as Maxxis expands the use of recycled materials into the construction of certain models of tires themselves.

32” MTB Tires
A New Platform for Performance
MAXXIS introduces a new family of 32” mountain bike tires, offering a forward-looking approach to performance through increased wheel diameter.
By increasing overall wheel diameter, the new platform delivers measurable gains in rollover capability, traction, and high-speed stability, particularly in rough terrain. Rather than replacing existing standards, 32” tires offer a new option for riders and builders interested in maximizing momentum, smoothing trail feedback, and unlocking new riding possibilities.
Available at launch in Aspen ST, Aspen, and Aspen AT tread patterns, with Forekaster and Dissector available in Q3 2026.
Highlights
- Increased rollover for smoother performance over obstacles
- Improved efficiency on rough terrain
Greater stability and traction from a larger contact patch
Driving the Evolution of MTB
With the introduction of the Aspen AT and the 32” tire range, Maxxis continues to lead the industry in evolving the sport of mountain biking, supporting riders from the start line to the edge of what’s possible on two wheels.
