Find all your questions and answers here
What is MAXX SEAL?
MAXX SEAL is a premium tubeless bicycle tire sealant developed for road, gravel, urban, MTB and downhill use. Its synthetic latex formula forms a continuous internal coating inside the tire casing and helps seal punctures while you ride.
Is MAXX SEAL only for MAXXIS tires?
No. MAXX SEAL can be used with tubeless-ready bicycle tires from other brands as well. However, it is developed and recommended as the best sealant choice for MAXXIS Tubeless-ready tires. Always follow the tire and rim manufacturer’s tubeless setup instructions.
Which tires and riding styles is it suitable for?
MAXX SEAL is suitable for tubeless bicycle tire systems across road, gravel, urban, MTB and downhill applications.
How much MAXX SEAL should I use per tire?
Use the following as a general guide. Larger volume tires, porous tire casings or very demanding riding conditions may require more sealant.
| Tire type | Recommended amount |
| Road | 30–50 ml |
| Gravel | 50–70 ml |
| 26" MTB | 60–80 ml |
| 27.5" MTB / XC / SUV | 80–100 ml |
| 29" MTB / SUV | 100–120 ml |
| 32" MTB & Downhill | 100–140 ml |
How often should I refill or top up MAXX SEAL?
Check and top up the sealant every 3–6 months. In hot or dry climates, during heavy use, or when the bike is stored in a warm place, check more often. For frequent riders or summer conditions, checking after 6–8 weeks is recommended.
